It’s less than a month to go before the most prestigious green event on the Surrey business calendar – CREST23 Business Awards Convention at the WWF’s Living Planet Centre on 26 October.

So not before time we want to welcome on board our 2023 Sponsors, including five new impressive names to our impressive team, not least of whom is our host, the WWF UK, sponsoring a new category Restoring Nature.

Many of our sponsors have been longstanding supporters of CREST Business Awards and CREST Consortium, which works year around to inspire and support green business initiatives through and it’s still not too late to get involved as a sponsor, associate sponsor or Consortium member.

CREST23 Smarter Transport Award

Surrey County Council is once again our Headline Sponsor and the Smarter Transport Award Sponsor, featuring CREST Business Awards as a showcase for green business as part of its Greener Futures programme.

Holdsway, a CREST Founding Sponsor is supporting the Sustainability Impact Award for businesses with a turnover above £1m, while the Institute for Sustainability at the University of Surrey is sponsoring Sustainability Impact Award for businesses with a turnover up to £1m.

Surrey Chambers of Commerce is again supporting the Sustainability Hero Award and we are delighted to welcome Surrey Wildlife Trust as the Transforming Food Sponsor. The Trust is a charity that works to protect nature across the county and is once again the CREST Business Awards named charity.

Surrey Hills Enterprises is the sponsor for yet another category that is new for 2023, the Community Impact Award. Meanwhile, our long-time supporters, DreamingFish Productions, this year stepped up to the plate as Media Sponsor.

The Convention, which includes a seminar by Joanna Yarrow and Professor Lorenzo Fioramonti and the Green Business Exhibition, brings the only business awards in Surrey focused on environmental sustainability that are free to enter and open to any business or organisation operating in the county.

Launched in 2021, they are run in partnership with the Institute for Sustainability and the Centre of Sustainability and Environment, both of which are part of the University of Surrey.
