Vineyard Tour & Tasting at Albury Vineyard 

Albury Vineyard is the result of Nick Wenman’s passion for quality wine. Nick planted the vineyard in 2009 having retired from the IT industry to fulfil his dream of owning a vineyard. He believes that key to the success of the wines is the vineyard’s commitment to organic and biodynamic principles, together with excellent winemakers and his talented vineyard manager Alex, one of the few female vineyard managers in England.

Albury Vineyard is situated on the southern slopes of the North Downs in the beautiful Surrey Hills, just outside Guildford on the A25 towards Dorking. The vines are the traditional Champagne varietals of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, as well as some Seyval and Pinot Gris. We are committed to producing organic fruit without the use of chemicals such as herbicides and fungicides and produce English wine of the highest quality: a still rosé and quality sparkling wines.

The Surrey Copper Distillery is an independent craft distillery which was founded in 2017 by the Smart family.

Indoor Wine Tasting Experience for 2 people

The award winning Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking was founded by Sir Adrian White in 1984. The estate has since been owned and managed by the next generation White family.  It is one of the largest wine producers in the UK.  Denbies wine now competes on an international level, including multiple gold awards for both sparkling and still wine production.

Enjoy a glass of Denbies Sparkling wine in the cinema followed by a tasting of four of Denbies award winning wines. Length of tour: Approx 1 hour. Glass of Denbies Sparkling wine or soft drink ‘Indoor Cinema Vineyard Tour’ The tour starts in the cinema featuring ‘The Vineyard Through the Seasons’. Learn about the geology and history of the estate and experience the changes in the vineyard through the seasons and appreciate the wine making process from vine to bottle.

West Surrey located near Godalming, and close to Guildford, is a friendly private members club blessed with one of the finest courses in the South East.

Set within enviably tranquil Surrey Hills countryside, the 6482-yard Par 71 course designed by Herbert Fowler in 1910 is ranked as one of Golf Monthly’s Top 100 courses in England.

It presents an interesting challenge to golfers of all abilities, with tree lined, watered fairways leading to superb sand based USGA standard greens that provide a high-quality putting surface all year round.

This voucher entitles the owner to an overnight stay for two guests, in a Deluxe Bedroom at Hilton Woking with Breakfast and Dinner in Oxbo restaurant. Dinner is for two guests from the TDH menu and does not include beverages.

Fly Fishing for one at Birtley Lake

Birtley Lake is a horseshoe lake with 500 yards of bank situated in beautiful parkland surroundings of Birtley House at Bramley, just 5 miles south of Guildford on the A281.

This voucher is for one person fly fishing for a full day (9am to 6pm) by prior date agreement in the current season (ie prior to 31st October).

The lake is stocked with brown trout up to 5lbs and a few rainbows and is in beautiful surroundings. If the successful bidder is not a current licence holder, he/she will need to pay £6 for a day licence and if not an experienced fly fisher we can supply kit and training on the day.

The winner will be able to select their favourite from 12 iconic species including the Giant Panda and also choose between our standard welcome pack or a pack created for children under 12.

As part of your adoption, you will receive an initial welcome pack including species information, a personalised adoption certificate and an optional soft toy to love forever. We will also keep you updated on how you’re supporting our vital work including sending adoption updates three times a year.
