We have been invited to feature in a film due to be broadcast live on the COP26 website, and potentially live-cast into the COP26 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Glasgow.

“How to reduce carbon emissions from transport in a rural county”

On November 10 the CREST Awards team and some of our CREST21 winners will be at an event in rural Surrey’s heartland in Farnham with headline sponsor Surrey County Council. Its focus is the theme “How to reduce carbon emissions from transport in a rural county”.
With the aim of promoting local activities to protect the environment, CREST has been given the opportunity to showcase future possibilities for sustainability within Surrey.

Surrey Climate Change Delivery Plan

CREST Business Awards is also going to be showcased at the Surrey Climate Change Delivery Plan launch at the Surrey Hills Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty (ANOB) Symposium 2021 on Wednesday 24 November at the University of Surrey.
The launch will also feature the Surrey Hills Symposium 2021 on “Our Climate and Biodiversity Emergency” with keynote speaker Dr Tony Juniper CBE.

The News & Mail which originally launched the awards in association with Surrey University’s Centre for the Environment and Sustainability, used its presence at Woking Means Business exhibition on 13 October to promote the awards, the first exhibition of its kind in the area since the easing of coronavirus restrictions.

Sustainable Business Conference

On 22 October Surrey Hills Enterprises invited CREST Business Awards to provide a presentation at its Sustainable Business Conference at Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot.
As a member of Surrey Hills Enterprises we welcome its steadfast support of the awards. A number of its members among the entrants and winners in the inaugural awards event in May and we were delighted to have a stand at the annual members’ evening at Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development, in Mickleham, Dorking, in August.
